Stereograms limited to 1 submission per day
Stereograms tend to get a lot of user interaction. What we accept we also get more of so the more people see them, the more stereogram submissions we get. What we found when we didn’t limit them is that they dominated the top of the group and it looked like a stereogram group.
I love stereograms, but we are not a stereogram group. It is not our primary focus so we limit stereogram submissions to 1/day. This is listed in our group rules, and has been specifically explained to you several times. But you have repeatedly ignored that and continued to go over that limit.
Pareidolia
This phenomenon occurs when people perceive familiar patterns, such as faces or animals, in random stimuli like clouds, rock formations, or abstract art. It is an illusion that encourages viewers to actively search for and identify the specific shapes or figures described by the original poster (OP).
Pareidolia is one of the most frequently types of submissions we receive, but we decline most of them. While we accept pareidolia as an illusion, it is not the primary focus of our group and often lacks interest—technically, even two peas and a carrot can count. For us to consider an image, it should be extremely obvious, as pareidolia is a highly subjective illusion. It should also have something of special interest, such as resembling a recognizable character or displaying an emotion or expression that suggests it’s plotting something. A caption can help. Moderators might consider a post for additional reasons, but we decline most, especially when they are similar to other posts.
